No the Kydex holsters have a tunnel in them for the sight to run in and it never touches the sight. Damage usually occurs when you shoot through a window (USPSA) and you get far enough in to hit the sight during recoil.

No cleaning products are more likely to damage the fiber rods and they (rods) are easy and inexpensive to replace
