sorry it is not legal in Illinois because of the 3 following features (any 2 of these features make it illegal) Prohibited are semiautomatic pistols that have a detachable magazine AND two or more of the following: 1 A folding, telescoping or thumbhole stock 2 Barrel shroud and 3 Capacity to accept a detachable magazine outside the pistol grip https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/illinois_restrictions.pdf
Jason, no Sir it currently is not. Details here : https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/illinois_restrictions.pdf
Jason - If you live in Cook County, Aurora, or Highland Park area, then this will definitely not be legal. If not living in any of those areas, and you have your FOID card or concealed carry permit, then you should be good to go. You can verify with a local FFL dealer. Here are the Illinois restrictions for you to read for yourself. https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/illinois_restrictions.pdf
That is a negative
this is classified as an AR pistol as long as you don't modify the brace. I live in Illinois and this is legal except the counties posted earlier.
