It is MA legal as it is a PUMP the 5 round restriction is for Semi auto shotguns " Prohibited: Massachusetts-defined "Assault Weapons" A ****semi-automatic shotgun that has at least two of the following:  Folding or telescoping stock  Pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the firearm  Fixed magazine capacity in excess of five (5) rounds  An ability to accept a detachable magazine" However I would check with a local FFL (before ordering) to be sure as he would be the one to do the paperwork
