The PMAG magazines have a great reputation for function, are synthetic, I believe are lighter than aluminum versions. Also there have some great deals on them recently, including one with 10 PMAGs included with purchase of case of ammo (1000rd).

Tim - I have to stand my my "go to" mags here - MagPul Pmags. They are the best all-around functioning, lightest, reliable and durable mags I have found in my 45+ years of shooting M-16s and ARs. The best magazine value on the market in my opinion. They mesh with pretty much everything on the market. These ship without any magazine at all - hence the note "N/A" for capacity.
