Can I purchase this pistol from someone in another state and have them send it to an FFL dealer in CA to deliver it to me? Or is there a way to get this pistol on the CA approved list of firearms?

Douglas, not currently. Only long guns and not hand guns can be purchased over state lines. If it is not legal to have shipped to CA then, it's not legal by any means Sir unless you are Law Enforcement.

Sorry you can not buy handguns across state lines only long guns and then the gun must be LEGAL IN BOTH states You cold contact the manufacturer and express your desire for them to pay for and get CA DOJ approval maybe your call could be the one that tips the scale in having them submit the gun for testing

Douglas - What you are talking about is a felony. It is a felony to bring an unapproved firearm into California, and no FFL dealer would engage in shipping an illegal firearm to CA. I understand your sentiment, but unfortunately, you live in a state that has not regards for personal freedoms.
