In actuality, the firearms may have one certain minor feature that is different, or might be a true special edition with many special features. My own findings are that it is primarily a marketing tool. The firearms might have a special run of distinctive serial numbers, for example. Primarily of interest to collectors. With this Colt, probably no difference other than maybe the grips.
