Kyle, Yes, just remove the end plate from between the receiver and castle nut and put the asap sling mount in to replace end cap between castle nut and receiver. No problem

Kyle - a pretty simple operation actually - you'll need a castle nut wrench, minimum. Just mind you don't 'kink' your take down pin detent spring when you install the QD sling mount.
