Rodney - Unfortunately, lefties have always just pretty much had to adapt to right-handed-pistols. Some, like the Glocks, have no thumb safety to worry about, and now in the new generation have mag releases that can be reversed. Lefties have a much better time of shooting 'rightie' pistols than rifles for sure. Get yourself a Glock, or a decent 1911 with ambidextrous safety, and enjoy it!

I just bought the 19 gen 5 . I love everything about it . I'm ambidextrous and this gun fits me perfect .
