Michael, yes Sir it will lock in and function fine. It will extend past the magazine well a bit of course.

Michael, These magazines fit and function in all S&W M&P 9 mm semi-auto handguns.

Michael - is should fit and function ... but will extend a good bit below the grip, and also can be over-inserted into the magwell, possibly damaging the pistol in the process. If you use it, be cautious to not insert it with excessive force.

they will fit but being pro mag they may or may not function (I have had bad luck with pro mag magazines)
