Recently I have heard that Buds will remove the mags to sell to a state where the only issue with a gun is the mag capacity you will need to Contact customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM CST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button . we are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions
Adam, Buds usually does not open/alter new firearms packages including Magazines. I have heard from members that some Customer Service Reps have offered this so I would contact Buds to see whether they will or not at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.
Adam - I spoke to a Buds customer service rep who informed me that if the large capacity magazine is the ONLY issue that prevents one from buying a firearm, call Buds and ask them to remove the magazine from the box. The buyer can then purchase their own compliant magazine(s). Call Buds and request they remove the magazine(s) for you, so you can buy the firearm. Call 859-368-0371 (9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri) or use the "chat now" button located at the bottom right hand portion of your screen, (9am-9pm EST 7 days a week)
Adam, So if you do get BUDs to pull 17 round magazines that come with this firearm here are the 10 round replacements. https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/97679/sig+sauer+magmodf910+p250%2fp320+9mm+10rd+replacement+magazine+black+finish $40 each at BUDs, MSRP at SIG $49. So $80 to add two magazines to your purchase.
Bud's will not alter firearms (including swapping magazines) to make a firearm compliant. I wouldn't be surprised if Sig offered a 10 round version eventually, they do this for all of their other models.
