Warren, The hand guards on the Therion Defense carbines BCH9, BCH45, BCH10 are all cylindrical and are 8" long

Warren, the upper rail is slightly shorter compared to the original.  The BCH9 Hand guard is a round/cylindrical  proprietary styled hand guard

Warren - Seems the Hand Guard is octagonal on all the models - standard, hunting, competition and defense.   Also have a 15" octagonal version available for optional purchase and install to replace the shorter standard hand guard.  See all the pics here:  https://thureondefense.com/
