Walter, no, it would have to be bored out to fit the 45. Or, you would need to get a 45 specific bore Muzzle Brake with the 5/8x24 thread pattern.
Walter - I'm not sure Yankee Hill makes this exact style in the size you need, but you can sure call them and ask: 1-877-892-6533 Mon - Fri 7:30am to 4pm EST .... if they don't there are several very cool muzzle brakes for 45 acp available that will fit your barrel.
Walter, Absolutely not. I have this muzzle device on my 6.5 creedmoor sporting rifle. This is for a 30 caliber round. You need a 45 caliber brake threaded in .578x28 for 45 ACP
