DA/SA - In a DA/SA, semi-automatic handgun, the trigger mechanism is identical in function to a DA revolver. However, this is combined with the ability of most semi-automatics to self-cock its hammer when firing.

Functions like double action/ single action. It gives you a re-strike capability.

This particular gun is a striker fire model. It has a single/double action trigger. what this means is that the first shot is harder like a single action because there is no external safety on this model. After your first shot this gun works like a double action, with an easier trigger pull. Hope this helps.
