Peter - Actually, for not much more than the price of an extra barrel, you could buy the 28" Dickinson pump 12 gauge with the mobil choke tube system, for sporting use .. and not worry about swapping barrels, thereby keeping your defense shotgun reserved 24/7 for defensive use. I think that's what I would consider.
