Bill, To change batteries you field strip firearm. You will see top cover of laser assembly in front of frame. Need .05 Hex Allen wrench to loosen captive retention screw. Loosen that and remove cover and pull laser assembly out of frame. Replace 2 Energizer 357-303 batteries as old ones were installed. hit switch on assembly after battery replacement to make sure it functions before reinstalling.
