Scott, No the Mag-Pul model 549 magazine for .308, 7.62, 6.5 creed will not fit or function in this firearm. It will function in the Savage BA Stealth, but not the model 110 tactical.

Scott - This rifle comes from the factory with a "Detachable 10-round Magpul AICS magazine" according to Savage. https://savagearms.com/content?p=firearms&a=product_summary&s=57006 .... Everything I find indicates the MagPul 549 Five round mag will fit. Just make sure you get the updated one with the brown follower.
So which is it? Does the Magpul AICS PMAG work with this or not? Savage website says yes but not sure if this rifle is an older model.
