Barrel Length (in.): 16.1" Bore Chrome Lined, 6 Grooves, 1-7" RH Twist
INB4 Double Tap. More than likely, the barrel Colt is using is "similar" to the real SOCOM barrel, but no cigar. Google search shows that the barrel for this product is just as thick as the real SOCOM barrel minus the cuts for the M203 attachment and shares the same profile as a M4 contour after the front sight post, which again are for the M203 grenade launcher. Me personally, I'd buy the weapon if I had money burning a hole in my pocket and basically is the "civilian" legal version to the actual rifle, minus giggle switch, a 16.1" barrel, and Colt named product. To answer your question about the handguards, the description of the product states that the rails are Troy products drop-in handguards, so no on the Knight's Armament Rails. Probably there to cut down on cost, but hey you do get the Matech rear sight.
