standard ar-15 mags up to 100rd beta and any in between in my experience magpul 30 or 40rd mags work best I would stay away from the old GI aluminum mags I dont think they feed as good as the magpul make sure your state allows hi-capacity mags

yes any .223/5.56 AR type mag will work
