Quintin - Actually, I have a friend who has been waiting for just over a year for his tax stamp to purchase a suppressor. So .. 10 months actually would be a pretty quick turnaround. They're in no hurry - they're the only show in town. You might read over this, from Buds web site. It might help you get a better picture of the process.
Quintin, 10 months if your lucky. Most Class 111 items don't even ship for 1 to 2 months (see BUDs Class111 purchase info) Then less then a year for your Form 1 to be approved is better then normal wait time. Gives you plenty of time to get your Trust set up.
Quintin, I recently got a form 1 stamp after 7 months and 12 days and am still waiting for a couple form 4's going on 9.5 months now. I'd say 10 months is reasonable, maybe even optimistic. I've talked to a few guys at the range that waited 13 months for their suppressors recently.
sorry to say yes a 10 month wait is not unusual 8-12 months is about normal
Quinton, yes Sir. The average time 3 or 4 years ago was 6 to 9 months. That average is a year now. Just hang in there, it will be worth it in the end Sir.
