Is 147 grain ammo the best for breaking in this pistol? Will any of the Galloway upgrades help? Striker guide and recoil spring? I have been interested in this pistol for a long time. At this price I had to purchase one.

William, with the barrel length, you will get function results with 124grain bullet max. This is not to say 147grain won't work but, the lower grains will be more optimized due to the barrel length. Most manufacturers state this as well for their short barrel semi-auto's.  Also, yes, the Galloway upgrades(Striker Guide/ Stainless Steel Guide Rod Assembly will increase reliability/performance.
