Cliff, Buds' should not knowingly ship this to Maryland with 19 round magazines. Their policy is that they do not open packages to remove magazines or other prohibited items and that purchases must be compliant in the destination state "as is" with no modification necessary. Buds' does carry a compliant option but it isn't used and as such costs more: https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/100236/springfield+armory+xd%28m%29+competition+9mm+525%5c%22+barrel+10+rou The information about shipping is mentioned in the disclaimer in this document of MD restrictions: https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/maryland_restrictions.pdf
No sorry, not legal in Maryland, nor can it be made
Cliff, Buds usually does not open/alter firearms packages including Magazines. I have heard from members that some Customer Service Reps have offered to replace/remove Magazines so I would contact Buds to see whether they will or not at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.
they will not ship it with the 19 round mag nor will they ship the mag to your residence they may sell you the gun with NO magazine however you will need to Contact customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM CST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button . we are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer question
Cliff - the hi-cap mag will not be shipped to Maryland - period. However this is a moot point, as this pistol is NOT on Maryland's approved roster of handguns, and can't ship to Maryland.
