Timothy, no Sir. This fits up to 6" Barrel Revolvers. [Fits S&W N-Frame 29 and 629 revolvers w/6" barrels].

Timothy - this holster is for a 6" barreled gun, not an 8", so it would not work for your S&W 500. I'll try to locate the one you need.
