Howard, local FFL's usually have a "Book of Gun Values" or you may be able to find this book online. I would give a local dealer a call to check their value estimate. They sell, buy, trade and appraise all the time.

Howard - Hope you don't have any more money in it other than the original list price, because that's pretty much about what it is worth. The 'profit' would be the amount the retail prices have increased. Henry isn't that old (1997) and everything they have made is a 'modern' firearm. They have produced some limited 'tribute' editions, that might, to certain people, have appreciated just a bit. Just look up the value of your rifle here on Bud's - that's what it is 'worth' today, money wise.
