Jerek, This firearm will take any carbine length quad rail. You could even put a longer one on if you replace the front railed gas block and install a low profile block that rail will go right over. Just one thing about this barrel having a 1 in 10 twist may not handle heavier projectiles. Lot of super comparable price and quality ARs here that have 1 in 7 or 1 in 8 twist barrel rifling that would make firearm a little more versatile.

Jerek - you can install pretty much whatever length hand guard you want, provided you replace the gas block with a low profile gas block, if you are installing a longer rail. And, Jerek - on a .308 rifle, a 1:10 twist rate barrel is pretty much what you need for any commercially available 308 bullet available. 308's are different than the smaller .223. I'm sure Michael was thinking of 5.56/.223 when he mentioned the 1:7 or 1:8 twist rate barrels.
