You should never keep a gun in your vehicle unattended. With that being said, any firearm is as good as the care that is taken in maintaining it. Even if you don't fire it frequently, you should properly clean and lubricate your gun every few months to ensure you have no problems.
if properly lubed it will be fine but in a gun to leave in my car I would look at a less expensive polymer gun
Shannon - a good cleaning, then a light coat of oil applied to the metal surfaces, and this gun would never corrode inside a vehicle. This is a very nice pistol however, to be leaving in your vehicle. Many guns are stolen from vehicles every day, and I'm sure you wouldn't want to lose this one.
Shannon, yes with proper cleaning and lubing. I use an extra measure of precaution : https://www.amazon.com/Pistol-Storage-bags-Anti-Corrosion-Firearm/dp/B00V785ZP4
