Jeff - I agree with you 100% on the single action comment, but some folks just seem to like them.  Like anything else, there's no accounting for taste.  :-)  If you want a good .22 LR pistol, just get yourself a Ruger Mark IV.  They'e accurate, reliable, durable, and just plain fun to shoot.  I have a Ruger Mark pistol I've had since 1976 and it still runs like a sewing machine.  If you truly want a double action revolver, then a Ruger GP100 or SP101 in 22Lr will fill the bill nicely.

there are no "cowboy" double actions and while you may be able to shoot faster I doubt that you can shoot accurately faster watch some of the fast "cowboy" action shooters
