Scott - Like beauty, a "best gun" is in the eye of the beholder. ... or in this case the purchaser. "Best gun" is pretty much a personal decision, and one you would have to make for yourself - especially in this case when both candidates are so evenly matched. What appeals to me would most likely not be the same tings that appeal to you. Read reviews on the two, and then make your decision. They are basically the same gun. Or .. do what most gun lovers would do - just buy both! :-)

I can only speak for the Uberti, cause I have one... but couldn't be happier. Fit and finish, trigger, etc. For the $$...whooee!

Scott, these two are close enough in every way to basically be a matter of which you like aesthetically best. Plain and simple.
