Chris, From what understand from reading Judge Benitez's 6 page stay order all magazines purchased from the time of Judge Benitez's ruling until 5pm 4.5.19 are totally legal until the case on the ruling and stay are ruled on by the 9th District Federal Court. Same Judge made the ban unconstitutional then was pressured to issue the stay on the ruling. So no problem until 9th District rules. Keep your dated receipts.
From what I understand they are legal (grandfathered in) I would keep the receipt to show that they where bought during the legal period "One week later, the same judge issued a stay, which meant the ban went back into effect while the lawsuit, Duncan v. Becerra, was settled in court. Any magazines obtained during that week-long period were legal." https://townhall.com/tipsheet/bethbaumann/2019/04/13/lol-ca-attorney-general-xavier-becerra-we-could-become-the-wild-wild-west-for-highcapacity-magazines-n2544742

Cris, you are good to go Sir. Just make a digital copy of the receipt for keeping with your magazines and put your original receipt in a safe place.
