Kevin - There are four different versions of this rifle being sold - with different hand guards.  the only way to actually find out the length of the hand guard on this particular UPC is to call SIG, and ask them.  Have the model # and UPC handy when you call:    603.610.3000 Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:30am – 5pm EST
