I also have weak hand strength so slide resistance is always a factor. I handled an MC1sc as soon as store had them and I recall no problem w/racking slide. My other contender is the Security 9 compact which was easy to cycle as well. Sig P238 (380) is my edc, very easy to cycle slide and load mag. Highly recommend. Still plan to get MC1sc as soon as they offer rebate
