Todd, Security 9 magazines will work in the SR9/SC9c, but not the other way around.

the security 9 mags will work in both but the sr9 sr9c mags will not work with out modification you could make them work if you cut a mag catch slot in the sr9 mag to match the mag cut in the security 9 see the picture in this review https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2018/01/jeremy-s/gun-review-ruger-security-9/
