Josh, the recoil spring is essentially the same. I would look at a recoil reducing hydraulic buffer : https://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2016/10/11/cutting-big-bore-ar-recoil/
Josh - what you have to do is try it with the same buffer and spring and see how things work. You may end up going to a heavier spring, H3 buffer, or both. Many advocate a heavier spring, at least, just to avoid a bit of the recoil. No need for a 'recoil reducing buffer' though. Many get good results with the same set up as their 5.56/223. It all depends on how much the rifle is gassing the BCG ... and different rifles will get different results. A bit of 'experimentation' might be called for, but shouldn't be difficult to arrive at the best solution for your rifle. No need of replacing things just for the sake of replacing them.
