Lt. Col. Wayne, From one O-5 to another. I would call it standard. The Savage standard barrel shank is 1.055 x 20 tpi which is on this firearm. Savage goes larger on the WSM and RUM to 1.120 x 20. You can confirm by size of barrel nut. Standard shank has larger barrel nut 7/8" or 0.875 thick. Large shank has smaller barrel nut 5/8" or 0.625. My Savage 10/110 in 6.5 Creed has standard 1.055 x 20 tpi barrel shank.
