Scott, the core rifles are the same. The LE version is specially marked by Springfield to be sold to Qualified Professionals/First Responders only by Buds. The package usually includes extra accessories such ad magazines, etc. over the non LE package. In this case, the price difference is due to Buds stocking a greater number of the standard rifle as prices are tied to stock level.
