I purchased a stoeger supreme coach gun with blue barrel and nickel receiver. Upon closer inspection when I came home I noticed wear on the safety/scratches and carbon deposit in the receiver (not the barrel). I also noticed that there is wood putty in lieu of a tight stock to receiver fit. Is the wood putty normal on a AA stock and the carbon?

Robbie, not if it were sold as "Factory New". It's not normal to come looked used although most firearms are tested before leaving their facility. I would contact Buds using chat feature at the bottom right corner.
