I see $9 even if I choose to decline the $16 insurance.  I got the magazine which also says free shipping.  Why am I still assessed the $9 shipping fee?

The pistol ships free, accessories do not. The extra magazine says "Free FedEx option" but you need have at least $199 for purchases other than just the pistol purchase to qualify for "Free" shipping (Buds should make this clearer). I would call Buds customer Service at 859-368-0371 to see if they will ship the mag with your pistol. They probably intend to ship the mag directly to you.

The magazine has a fee because it will ship separately right to your home address. The pistol will ship free if you live in the lower 48 states.
