At what distance will this rifle thrive in? Im trying to decide between this 20 snd 16.5. The range close by goes to 600 yards. Ill eventually gbe able to shoot that far. I really like the 16.5 because of the compact size but not if it only it is only effective out to 300 yards. Thats why im looking at the 20.

Erik, If you plan on going out to 600 yards, get the 20 inch barrel no question. You will appreciate it at the longer than 400 yard marker Sir.

Erik - One thing for sure, your scope is more important, overall, than the barrel length.
