The State of Ohio prohibits target shooting on public lands, including the Wayne National Forest (Ohio Administrative Code Section 1501: 31-9-03 (A)(4)). However, target shooting is allowed within any designated public shooting range. Though there are no shooting ranges located on the Wayne National Forest, there are several public shooting ranges throughout the State as listed on the following web link: http://wildlife.ohiodnr.gov/hunting-trapping-and-shooting-sports/shooting-ranges
