It's loud but not louder then a .500 mag. It does however have alot of kick behind it.

Matthew, This is a firearm that fires 44 mag. You will want to wear hearing protection. It is a loud round. Manageable kick/recoil? I would fire about 50 rounds of 44 mag at the range before it stopped being fun. Nice heavy well built revolver for a certain purpose. Not a range toy.
