Ellis, Springfield trimmed back the Edge's weight through a unique lower-receiver design, removing material around the mag well to make it feather light. The Edge has a single-stage modular match trigger that is Melonite treated, ensuring it has a crisper and cleaner brake compared to the standard Saint. With the slightly up scaled Brace, the Edge is an upgraded version of the standard Saint Pistol.
