If you change out the handguard for a quad rail the all the other accessories will be easy to add
both of my sons have recently purchased the sport II, and both exchanged the forearm that came with the rifle, for a quad rail. one son also installed a red dot, which was aligned with the as delivered iron sights, and uses that to highlight his aim point (he got this idea from an active duty army fellow, who had returned from Afghanistan where they used this idea). the only caution I would add on the rifles, is that one of the two will not feed reliably, with cartridges being jammed with a bent casing, into the chamber. this was a fairly common problem about two years ago, but from reviews I have read, is not common now. in any case s&w is going to send us a mailing label to have this rifle returned to their shop, for adjustments.
