Brian, Smith and Wesson states this Frame Finish is Cerakote® Coating H152 Stainless which is an *Exclusive Color*. Looks light Grey to me.

Brian - the finish is similar to what I would call a 'matte stainless' / or light/medium greyish in color. It is a coating of cerakote applied over the polymer frame of the Shield.
