Unfortunately, we would not be able to ship the firearm out like that. We do not open any products prior to shipping to remove anything from the package.
Although it would be convenient to ship the items as you have indicated, it certainly opens up the door for potential legal issues for you and for BUDS. Knowingly shipping the magazine to a relative in PA, with the assumption the magazine and the weapon will eventually be married up, would not bode well. You could always contact your local branch of the ATF and ask them their opinion. I hope this information helps.
Eric P is correct. Buds will not ship out any firearm that is deemed illegal to that State. I feel your pain, living in NJ. I have dealt with sellers (outside of Buds) that will send it to an FFL w/out the offending magazine.
