I noticed this model comes with the smooth bore bird barrel. Does it also come with the rifle barrel or chokes for slugs? Looking for this to be a home defense gun for a woman. Thank you!

This does not include a rifled barrel but does take Accu-Set choke tubes and should come with a full, modified, and improved cylinder which would work with slugs. Personally, I use/prefer 00 buckshot in my defensive shotgun - just me.

Julie, You can shoot slugs accurately out of this shotgun as is out of the box. No need for a rifled barrel for self defense. Would look at buckshot instead of slugs for residential self defense. As effective and safer for the neighbors.
