The description says 5.56/.223, however I purchased one and upon receipt see that the barrel is marked .223 only. So is it .223 only, or can it handle 5.56 as well? Thanks

John, If a barrel on a firearm was marked ".223 only" that is what I would shoot. I would not shoot 5.56 Nato no matter what the description says. That's just me.

If it was chambered in 556 I would say yes to 223! But since it's chambered in 223 I would not shoot 556 out of it unless the company says it's okay. You can hurt yourself accidentally.
