The only folding stock adapt. i could find was the ace. I want to put one on my M&P 15 sport 2. Will it work with? Or does the reciever have to be different.

This would not work on the M&P 15 Sport II. Any AR platform where the buffer spring and buffer returns the bolt to its forward/locked position after firing can not take this type of adapter. This is made more for .22 caliber ARs where the spring to return the bolt is built into the bolt carrier.
