as a Bolt action rifle it is 100% CA compliant and legal https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf

Richard, yes Sir. Bolt, Pumps and Single shot firearms do not carry the same stringent CA restrictions as their "Semi-Auto" counterpart firearms.
