I highly recommend the P229 I love mine. the H&K is a nice gun but it just does not feel right to me. I would give a slight accuracy edge to the Sig (that could be just because i shoot it better) quality and durability will be about the same. To me Trijicon sights are top of the line but I will not pay their price as i dont think with a handgun (in the real world) the difference is enough to justify the extra cost
