John, Not with me. I've shot over 2000 rounds of this through Windham Weaponry, Bushmaster, Ruger, Core 15, DPMS, Radical Firearms DI AR15 sporting rifles and not one issue. Even shot some game with this round. No problem.
John, not a whole lot but some have reported issues. Steel Cased ammo tends not to expand and seal like brass case ammo and leaves more blow by and residual soot much faster than brass. This can be problematic on some AR's. With the cost of brass cased ammo being competitive with steel cased, just stick with brass. Many have no issues in AR's but, Steel is best used sloppy chambered AK's.
no issues other than its a dirty ammo
TulAmmo steel ammo is always a problem. The case expands to seal the chamber but doesn't spring back to release itself like brass does. It will work fine if you do not heat the gun up but if you compete and fire long strings you will get stuck cases. Take a rod with you. Hornady's steel case ammo so far always works and we shoot lots of that. I think it's the coating Hornady puts on it.
