This mossberg 930 will handle bot 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells with no problems the low or Reduced recoil 2 3/4 shells may give it problems but standard 2 3/4 shells will work just fine

William, yes Sir it can. A shotgun with a 3" Chamber can fire 3" or any shorter shell including 2 3/4 without issue.
